Patrick was a Beaver when he was in grade 1. Beaver guys did crafts like building bird houses and making knots. They also did alot of crafts, ate big bunches of cookies and played games in a circle. Gordon Swityk Ryan’s dad, Bob Waterman, someone else’s dads, and I were the leaders in Patrick’s group. The most fun was the Halloween party - Patrick and I were both pumpkins! His little pumpkin costume is in the antique chest waiting for his future children. Every year, I made a costume for Patrick - all are in the chest.
